Lyly is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any form of child exploitation on our platform.
1. Age Requirement
Lyly is a dating application exclusively for adults. Our strict policies include:
- Minimum age of 18: Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- Age verification at registration: Users are required to confirm their age during the sign-up process. Users must provide their birth year, and the App verifies that they meet the minimum age requirement before allowing account creation.
- Ongoing enforcement: If at any point we discover or have reason to believe that a user is under 18, their account will be immediately suspended and permanently deleted.
2. Zero Tolerance for Child Exploitation
Lyly maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy regarding any form of child sexual exploitation or abuse. This includes but is not limited to:
- Sharing, distributing, or soliciting child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Grooming or attempting to groom minors.
- Any sexual communication involving or directed at minors.
- Soliciting sexual images or content from minors.
- Any content that sexualizes, objectifies, or exploits children in any way.
- Sharing or requesting content depicting child abuse or neglect.
3. Prevention Measures
We employ the following measures to prevent the presence of minors and child exploitation content on our platform:
3.1 Age Gate
- All users must confirm they are 18 or older during registration.
- Birth year validation prevents users under 18 from creating accounts.
- Users who attempt to register with an age under 18 are blocked from account creation.
3.2 Content Moderation
- User-reported content is reviewed and acted upon promptly.
- Profiles and content flagged for suspicious activity are investigated.
- Content involving minors in any inappropriate context is immediately removed.
3.3 User Reporting
- Users can report suspicious profiles or behavior directly within the App.
- All reports involving potential child safety issues are treated with the highest priority.
- We encourage all users to report any content or behavior that may involve a minor.
4. Response to Violations
When child safety violations are identified, we take the following immediate actions:
- Immediate account suspension: The offending account is immediately suspended to prevent further activity.
- Content removal: All violating content is removed from the platform immediately.
- Evidence preservation: Relevant data is preserved for law enforcement purposes.
- Law enforcement reporting: We report incidents of apparent child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the appropriate local law enforcement authorities as required by law.
- Permanent ban: Accounts involved in child exploitation are permanently banned with no possibility of reinstatement.
5. Cooperation with Law Enforcement
Lyly fully cooperates with law enforcement agencies in the investigation of child exploitation cases. This includes:
- Responding promptly to lawful requests for information from law enforcement.
- Proactively reporting suspected child exploitation to relevant authorities.
- Preserving evidence and account data when required for investigations.
- Complying with all applicable laws regarding mandatory reporting of child exploitation.
6. Education and Awareness
We are committed to raising awareness about child safety:
- Our Terms of Service clearly prohibit any content or behavior involving minors.
- Users are informed of the age requirement before and during registration.
- We maintain clear reporting mechanisms for any concerns about child safety.
7. Data Protection for Minors
In the event that personal data of a minor is inadvertently collected:
- The data will be deleted as quickly as possible upon discovery.
- The associated account will be immediately suspended and removed.
- We do not knowingly collect, store, or process personal data from individuals under 18.
